Bunta is a salaryman who has been fired from his company and has lost everything, including his family and savings, hitting rock bottom. Bunta, who spends his days sleeping in internet cafes, one day receives an invitation to an interview from a company called "Nonamare." For some reason, he passes the final interview and is given the job of becoming a slight esper and saving the world. He ends up living with a strange wife in company housing, but Bunta is also bound by the mysterious rule that he "must not fall in love with people."
