
In the late 1980s, two feuding families are drawn back together when Wang Yingrong, who has lost her factory job, rebuilds her life with the help of Zheng Minjiang. As the two grow closer through hardship and entrepreneurship, old grudges slowly give way to reconciliation and love.

In the late summer of the 1980s, an unexpected event intertwines the fates of the feuding Zheng and Wang families. After losing her factory job, Wang Yingrong, the second daughter of the Wang family, struggles in pig farming before finding success in vinegar brewing, all with the help of Zheng Minjiang, the eldest son of the Zheng family. As they work together, affection quietly grows between them. In the end, the longstanding rift between the two families heals, turning a generational feud into a bond of marriage.
